Capital One
From the Walmart wedding registry to Cabela and Menard’s outdoor adventure promotions – Capital One was awesome! My accounts included the Capital One-Walmart PLCC and Co-branded credit cards, Capital One Menards credit card and Capital One Cabela’s credit card.
Verizon
I spent six months working with an amazing team at Verizon. Along with getting really familiar with Drupal, I also worked on key sections of the Verizon website.
ETS
I spent 10 years at ETS. Drinking lots of coffee and writing for TOEFL, GRE, PRAXIS, ETS R&D, TOEIC, HiSET and more. I understand the standardized testing, e-learning, test prep and K–12 assessments space — what works and what doesn’t. How to write and how not to write for the education/edtech sector.
Appreciate Inc.
I joined a start-up — a fintech organization called Appreciate Inc — as their Consulting Head of Communications and Marketing. High-energy, lots of fun, hard work. Love it!

I spent some time freelancing for Benjamin Moore. It was colorful and a lot of fun! (Yes, it’s a repeating theme — I tend to have fun no matter what I’m writing for!)

Freelance Work
My freelance projects range from creating websites and customized web content for an office furniture provider to a cybersecurity firm. What can I say? I love working for diverse industries and clients. I enjoy collaborating with my clients, researching the industry/sector that I’m writing for and then of course, the best part — writing! I feel like a kid in a candy store at the start of every new project — so many possibilities, so much to learn, so much to write about…
